Donating? Here's this week's updated list:
Strictly new/unused human foods & medical/practical items only. Dr Razvan at 'From Bristol With Love For Ukraine' charity is in direct contact with Ukraine officials, this is some of what they currently need that we can help with:
Food
-
baby & toddler foods and baby milk (sadly many mothers stop producing milk when experiencing shock (war))
-
canned foods (inc veggies, pulses & meats)
-
instant foods
-
cereals and cereal bars
-
crackers and biscuits
-
tea (black and herbal), coffee, hot chocolate
-
pasta
-
flour
-
sugar
-
dried food
-
nuts/dried fruit
-
sweets and chocolates.
First aid
[Please no more nappies, toys, pet foods, general clothing or bedding, we've received generous donations of these already, more than current requirement, food and saving space to store food is more important.]
Let’s breathe, let’s help & together make a difference!
A note to my yoga community....
It is important to me that I try to do something for the Ukraine, even though my effort is only small by comparison to others. Please know, this is by no way a social pressure to take part or donate with me. Just like yoga, there are no expectations, no comparisons and no judgments. There are so many people reaching out for our support and there's no way we can support them all. I just hope that the right something connects to the right person in a way that makes them feel they can to help too.
